Markdown Reader

Clean, fast markdown reading. Nothing else.

For iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Just reading

No editing panes, no sync services, no accounts. Open a .md file from Files, iCloud Drive, or Finder and read it the way it was meant to look.

Beautiful rendering

Headings, lists, tables, block quotes, fenced code, dividers, and tappable links — in a comfortable reading column with adjustable text size and full dark mode.

Strictly read-only

The app cannot modify, move, or save over your documents. Your files open in place, right where they live.

Completely private

No network access, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party code. Your files never leave your device.
